Business Credit Card Choices
"Business Credit Card
Benefits speak for themselves, but choosing the right Business
Credit Card is the important factor"
A Business Credit Card
has many benefits aimed at all levels of businesses. For
instance the small business may need that extra leg up now and
again when cashflow is slow coming in.
It is an alternative to an overdraft and you
have the flexibility of paying off some or all of the balance
when the cashflow picks up. When money is tight but you need to
make business purchases when the offers are right, a business
credit card gives you the flexibility of doing just that. If
you had to rely on a loan, things could become very messy and
expensive.
Making payments is simple and convenient,
very similar to the way you would use a regular personal credit
card. Many banks even do online accounts, so you don't even
have to put pen to paper or make a trip to the bank in
person.
Another benefit of a business credit card is
that you would be reducing administration costs. By using this
facility, the basic running of the account is so simple, it
takes no time at all to do the admin side.
For many larger organisations, the
flexibility of a business credit card is invalueable. You can
usually select a choice of payment solutions that will suit the
needs of your organisation perfectly. This is so important, not
only financially but from an organisational point of view.
Alongside this, a lot of companies now offer additional cards
for employees all under the one company account. Could be
extremely useful and convenient but this is optional.
I would say though, the biggest benefit of a
business credit card would have to be the Cash flow
flexibility. You can get up to 56 days interest free credit,
and when you are running a business this could very often be
the difference of make or break.
Finally, a lot of credit
card companies offer great incentives if you use their
business credit card. Points values can add up very quickly
when you are spending mega amounts on a business card. These
points can be used in various ways, and all companies will have
their own system. Do check out the basics though, and don't be
lulled by special offers if the interest rates are a lot higher
than a company that is not offering any special offers. You
could end up paying far more in the long run.
